The scene every time it rains, at least in the subway. The scene on the street includes the detritus of brutally maimed umbrellas lying in the gutters with their metal skeletons exposed.

Yes, I am often annoyed with people eating on the subway, and yes it is ridiculously common to find large amounts of food trash strewn throughout cars. Then again, sometimes I only have the 15-minute ride between work and school to stuff a bagel in my mouth.
