He also revealed the terrorist organization had wasted six months planning to take down Amtrak’s regional operations before realizing that with its constant delays and malfunctions, the government-owned passenger train service “basically terrorizes itself.”
Amtrak does that much more literally in its obsession with police dogs (it’s mostly a depraved from of marketing—behold our “k-9” celebrities!) and by running that creepy DHS video on a loop on a huge screen in Penn station.
But yeah. Their service is also terrible, independent of their security theater. Go Mica, go.
